NEW YORK - APRIL 3: Klaus Wunderhits (in the red velvet suit) from Norway takes in the view from the median at 45th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue in Times Square April 3, 2004 in New York City. Wunderhits visited New York to shoot a music video of himself for his song called, "Let's Have A Cheer," which is about a crazy man walking around New York having a good time. His only comment about Times Square was, "I don't like that naked cowboy guy, really." (The Naked Cowboy, who plays his guitar in Times Square almost every day is pictured in rear center.) Times Square's 100th birthday is April 8, 2004. On April 8, 1904, Mayor George McClellan signed a resolution changing the name of Long Acre Square to Times Square. Times Square, a living icon of popular culture, is one of the most familiar and most frequently reproduced fragments of urban real estate on the planet. (Photo by Landon Nordeman, 2004).
